How does Lansoyl work?

Lansoyl works by coating the stool and intestinal walls, reducing water absorption from the stool. This keeps it soft and easy to pass.

How long does Lansoyl take to work?

Lansoyl usually takes effect within 6 to 8 hours after taking it. For best results, it is often taken in the evening to promote a bowel movement the next morning.

How should I take Lansoyl?

Take 1 to 3 teaspoons (5ml – 15ml) per day preferably before bedtime. It can be taken alone, mixed with a small amount of water/juice, or on a cracker. It is not suggested you lie down immediately after taking Lansoyl.

Can Lansoyl be used daily?

Lansoyl is designed for short-term use only. It should not be taken fore more than one week unless advised by a doctor, as long-term use can affect natural bowel function.

Who should NOT use Lansoyl?

Do not use Lansorl if you: Have difficulty swallowing or are at risk of aspiration (breathing the liquid into the lungs. Have a bowel obstruction or undiagnosed abdominal pain. Are allergic to mineral oil or other ingredients in Lansoyl. Are a child under 6 years old (unless advised by a doctor).

Can Lansoyl be taken with other medications?

Lansoyl may interfere with the absorption of other medications. It is recommended to take other medications at least 2 hours before or after taking Lansoyl. Always consult your doctor or pharmacist before combining with other treatments.
